Sunset. Three little boys. Loving parents. Grassy field. Suspenders. Playing. Hugs. Everything a summer family session should be.
I have know this family for a few years after teaching their oldest preschool. They now have three little boys. Active. Silly. Playful. Full of energy. Having three kids myself (all girls) I know what it’s like to manage a household of a group of little humans. Mom is a huge fan of everything rustic and Fixer Upper inspired interior decor. We have lots of little chats about things like flooring and shiplap over the past year as we built our home and they have been sprucing up their own. So it is always fun to see and connect with a family you have known and capture some summer fun for them. We kept moving the entire time, gave hugs and eskimo kisses. The boys played with mom and dad and explored the environment around the Lodge at Allardale in Medina.
With many kids and being outnumbered as the parents, I understand how difficult it can be sometimes to give each child individual attention and make them each feel special every day. It’s hard. It’s a lot to live up to as a parent. My goal in many sessions is to get shots of the entire family, just the kids and each child with each parent. So we had a lot of set ups to get through before the kiddos were “done” 🙂 They did so amazing!
Thanks to these great people for having me capture them and their boys of summer. Enjoy!
